Prices

Less steep than a ski slope

Teaching yourself will cost you three days of horrific bruising, two trips to A&E, and whatever shred of dignity you had left in front of your mates.

A lesson with me costs significantly less than orthopedic reconstruction—and might actually save your holiday.

Skipass

How not to waste money on the wrong ski pass.

You don’t always need the full Via Lattea pass to get the most out of your day. Depending on your riding level, starting with the right lift ticket saves you time, energy, and a fair bit of money—because overpaying just to stare at a magic carpet is entirely optional

Total beginner

Complete beginners don’t need the full area lift pass. For your very first hours, the reduced ticket for the Tappeto Jolly beginner carpet is more than enough. Don’t pay to access 400km of slopes when you’re only going to be using 40 metres of them.

First turns

Gives you access to dedicated beginner lifts while unlocking blues, reds, and blacks—just in case you feel wildly overconfident. The smart choice to start exploring the mountain safely without accidentally finding yourself at the top of an Olympic mogul run.

Buy your lift pass online to avoid standing in freezing queues at the ticket office. Once in Sestriere, head straight to the automated pickup machines, scan the QR code on your phone, and collect your pass in under a minute.

Zip it into your left jacket pocket, and run to the meeting point. You’re already out of excuses for being late.
